IFTA quarterly estimator
Free during launchDrop in a CSV with miles and fuel bought per state. The estimate of tax owed or credit for the quarter is worked out in your browser. The file is never uploaded.
Example data The example file is invented. Tax rates in it are examples, not IFTA rates.

Fleet miles per gallon

| State | Miles | Gallons bought | Taxable gallons | Rate per gallon | Tax owed or credit |

How to read this. Fleet miles per gallon is all miles divided by all gallons. Taxable gallons in a state are its miles divided by that fleet figure. Tax is taxable minus bought, times the rate.

A positive total is tax you owe, a negative one a credit. Real returns follow your base state's rounding, interest and surcharge rules. This is for planning cash, not for filing.
IFTA returns are normally due the last day of the month after the quarter ends. Check your base state.

Example data Sample Hauling LLC is an invented company (8 trucks, dry van, 13 weeks). Every load, broker and dollar is example data. Brokers appear as Broker A to F. Panels marked REAL OPEN DATA use dated US government aggregates (FMCSA, EIA, NWS, BTS, state work-zone feeds) and are not live. This demo makes no network calls: nothing you type or choose is sent anywhere.
